Pipework and Valves

The majority of pipework installed in a building is located within plant rooms, risers and ceiling voids.

Everything from large bore to small bore pipework, all containing water under pressure.

The maintenance of pipework systems, particularly valves and actuators, reduces the risk of failure and the consequential damage to the fabric of the building.

Whatever the situation ecex can offer professional advice and a fixed price solution to ensure that your building is maintained to a high standard and in full compliance with all regulations.

Typical problems include:

  • Dead legs in pipe systems caused by modifications.
  • Ageing pump flexible joints which can fail without prior warning.
  • Leaking or damaged control valves.
  • Damage to copper pipework from mechanical impact or age deterioration.
  • Failed isolation valves making it impossible to carry out routine maintenance tasks.
  • Incorrect materials used for the specific application.

Pipework installations completed by ecex

  • Steel pipework welded and threaded.
  • Copper pipework brazed and soldered.
  • MDPE plastic.
