Air Intake Screens

ECEX introduced air intake screens to the UK market in 2012 as the only manufacturer-nominated UK distributor. Made in the USA by the Air Solution Company (, air intake screens are designed to prevent airborne debris before it can enter HVAC systems and cause damage to coils or internal filters. Lasting up to 15 years and cleaned simply using a soft brush, hose or vacuum, air intake screens are the ideal first line of defence for your air intake systems.

Lagging & Insulation

ECEX can repair or replace all insulation on site in full compliance with BS5422:2001. Insulation is an incredibly simple and effective method of improving energy efficiency. Materials installed by ECEX include:

Fire Stopping

When new services are installed within a building involving drilling or cutting into an existing fire barrier, often the repairs and rectification are inadequate.

ECEX offer a full site survey and recommendation to ensure that your building is in compliance with RRFSO (The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005).

Water Storage & L8 Remedial Works

Delivering adequate water storage and turnover is fundamental to any facilities management/maintenance team. ECEX provide the following services:
